008, has celebrated in 2002 its 75th year of activity in the production of additives for moulding sands. The plant in Cosseria (Savona), working since 1987, placed on a surface of 35.000 m2, allows a production of 600 mt/day and a raw materials' warehousing capacity of 25.000 mt. Two modern laboratories supply to monitor constantly beyond 30 different chemical and mechanical parameters of finished products and incoming raw materials. Uncharged analysis of moulding sands' samples forsees 25 different tests, which results are recorded and accurately analyzed also with reference to the previous samples, the system configurations and the productive typology of the customer. This phase of assistance, supported with data and historical series' statistic elaboration and beyond 50 years of experience in the siderurgical sector, gives body to precise indications about the most suitable use and dosage of the additives The constant research to come up to the customer's needs has led the company to guarantee a more and more close relationship with the customer, short times of delivery (even less than 24 hours) and made to measure formulations for each foundry.

The company has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of flat glass working machinery. They specialize in the field of drilling machines with single or multi-heads, both horizontal and vertical, and to complete our production range, also drilling lines, not only for glass decoration and construction, but also for the glass for photovoltaic systems and also for the earth moving machine industry.

In recent years the company has expanded its range of products introducing, to complete the field of drilling, glass grinding machines with straight line edging machines and single double edgers or complete lines. The company is constantly evolving; an internal design office allows attention to the needs and innovations required by the market and the individual customer. The prerogative of the machines is the technological flexibility and ease of use, both mechanical and software.

In two years the company has doubled its production premises as well as having set up a permanent showroom where customers can see some types of machines produced by OMV VISMARA. With the assistance of a company in their group, they can offer, both in the field of drilling as well as that of grinding, also complete lines also with loaders and unloaders, which allow the loading of the glass, processing (both vertical and horizontal) and unloading, including the use of barcode reading and for more peace of mind of the client, have ONE single interlocutor on the entire line.

Origins

VM Motori's engines were initially targeted towards the industrial, agricultural and marine industries. It was the development of a new range of state of the art, turbocharged diesel engines in the mid-seventies that saw VM Motori start to make a name for itself in the automotive sector.

The Birth of the Turbotronic

In 1990 VM Motori launched the Turbotronic engine featuring an electronically controlled injection system and EGR. This engine, widely considered to be the cleanest light duty diesel engine in the world, was notable for having produced best in class performance and emissions results.
