Overview:

Glass Service Srl was established in 1994 by merging and integrating the long experience of two companies both working in the glass plant supply arena but with complementary intents. The first was specialized in supplying combustion equipment and other accessories like batch chargers, glass level measurement systems and heat recuperators for all kind of furnaces whereas the other was specialized in supplying glass melting furnace design as well refractory assembling and assistance.

Since its establishment until now the task of Glass Service is to respond to the raising demand of high technology coming from the glass industry and focused in batch preparation plants, melting furnaces, gathering systems as well as forming machines design for small and medium sized glass factories.

Glass Service is today well known in its field for supplying engineering and equipment for soda lime glass for different production (manual or automatic production), high quality glasses, head lights and illumination as well as plants for frits for glass and ceramic industry. Glass Service is considered a leader company in the field of robotics for glass gathering operation thanks to the large number of applications installed in Europe and worldwide (the Middle East, Far East, Oceania and South America).

In order to fulfill its commitment with the market, during the last years Glass Service has heavily invested in expanding its facilities, in recruiting motivated and expert staff, in improving the design of its products purchasing modern three-dimensional CAD systems as well as mathematic furnace modeling software and in developing new enhanced equipment for the glass industry.

Thanks to the experience achieved Glass Service today is able to supply either single parts of a glass plant (combustion systems, forehearths, coloring systems, robots, forming machines, etc.) or complete turn-key plants starting from the design and ending with the complete installation and assistance to start up and commissioning.

All products and plants designed and manufactured by Glass Service are distinguished for the high quality standards and are made for meeting four basic requirements:
