The technology centers, promoted by I CE-Agenzia in collaboration with Italian and foreign partners (associations, schools and universities, government agencies), represent a true showcase of the Italian technological offerings of the leading sectors of Made in Italy and at the same time, a tool for training and education of engineers, technicians and skilled workers of manufacturing companies in the various countries where they are implemented.

Prominent technology centers have been active in Mexico for several years including the Centro de Servicios de Alta Tecnologia (CESAT), at UPAEP, the Autonomous University of Puebla, PL. CESAT is the center of excellence in the research and development of plastic processing techniques, implemented by ICE-Agency, ASSOCOMAPLAST-the national association of plastics and rubber machinery and mold manufacturers in cooperation with UPAEP and and the administrations of Puebla and Tlaxcala.
On March 20 and 21, ICE-Agenzia Mexico City Manager Giuseppe Manenti and the Machines Italia Mexico Desk visited CESAT.
The program of the visit included a survey of the center's facilities, equipment and laboratories and meetings with representatives of the university, local government.
During the meetings, the interventions and initiatives carried out and the projects in progress and planned in the near future were discussed.
