Globally, Mexico ranks 10th among the top foundry producers with over 2.5 metric tons of metal castings. In 2014, the sector generated USD $6.5 million of revenue and employed 50,000 workers.
Given the importance of the foundry industry for the Mexican economy, Machines Italia will be taking part in the show with a 2.4 thousand square meter exhibition area, hosting leading Italian machinery and technology suppliers.
