The 2017 edition of the World Manufactuting Forum dedicated to smart technologies and Industry 4.0: Towards a Digital Market and Connected Manufacturing Ecosystems was held in Monterrey, NL, November 7-9, 2017, at Parque Fundidora en el Horno 3.

Global policy and economic experts, opinion leaders, large multinational corporations, small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, representatives from academia, and the international press met in Monterrey to discuss issues and topics salient to the world of industry and the political, economic, social, and technical challenges affecting global manufacturing. Over 400 delegates, from 20 countries and more than 30 lectures and presentations. Many speakers and personalities from Italy.

Machines Italia participated in the event, with its own booth, disseminating information services offered by ICE Agency and providing assistance to local and foreign operators attending the forum. In particular, Technological Centers and various collaborations with universities and professional research and training centers were highlighted as innovative training tools to serve the Mexican manufacturing industry and among them

The next edition of the forum will be held in Cernobbio, Italy on September 27 and 28, 2018.
