The Italian Technology Awards Return
The 2017 edition of the "Italian Technology Awards" (ITA) will take place next November and will again be hosted by LIUC Libera Università Cattaneo in Castellanza.
ITAs are awards that are given to foreign undergraduate or graduate students in technical disciplines, following special competitions based on the submission of papers on topics related to the use of manufacturing technologies in specific sectors.
This is a training and communication/image action in favor of Italian technologies organized by ICE - Agency in collaboration with Federmacchine and aimed at the dissemination and knowledge of Italian production among those who will be the future managers of foreign companies and, as such, potential buyers and users of "Made in Italy" production systems.
This year's edition will be attended by delegations of students and teachers from University Centers in various countries and from North America.

As usual, the one-week trip-prize in Italy is divided into a first "common" part for all students, with a cross-training program, organized by LIUC, followed by a second part in which the students are divided into sectoral groups to follow the programs of company visits and training organized by the individual trade associations of the various Machines Italia sectors participating in the initiative.
The Technology Awards certainly represent an innovative approach to the promotion of the instrumental mechanics sector, structured in a medium- and long-term perspective that aims at the formation and consolidation of a technological "culture" based on the characteristics of the made in Italy not only production, but also managerial, sector.
More than 70 students will be involved in the 2017 edition of ITAs.
