SprutCAM expands online robot programming library

SprutCAM X Robot software, developed by SprutCAM Tech Ltd. in Limassol, Cyprus, is designed to provide a comfortable programming environment, which closely simulates the interaction between an engineer, a robot, a tool and a product.

To develop a control program for an industrial robot and simulate all robot functions in a virtual environment, a technologist-programmer needs to create a real cell with robotic equipment and production components in a CAM system or integrate a cell from external software.

The Machine Maker add-on, a zero-code robotic cell generator for SprutCAM X, allows manufacturers and integrators to quickly create an accurate digital twin of any robotic cell using an online library that supports a large selection of industrial robot brands.

The online robot library now includes 675 components from brands such as Kuka, FANUC, ABB, TeknoMotor, AMB (Kress), SCHUNK, OnRobot, Joulin, Schmalz, Regal, Universal Robots, Güdel, Meltio and many more.

Featured components are robots, including high-powered robots and cobots; one-, two- and three-axis positioners; actuators, including movable grippers (end effectors) handrails; fixed objects such as tables, controllers and fences.

SprutCAM Tech's development team keeps the library updated with the most popular equipment. Manufacturers and integrators can add a 3D model of a robot or other piece of equipment to the online library.
