Within the next few months, Italy's MTA SpA's US subsidiary, MTA USA Corp. plans to relocate its current 5,000 square-foot office to a 30,000 square-foot facility in Schaumburg (Illinois). The expansion will add manufacturing and assembly operations, as well as an estimated five new jobs. According to Jim Feltman, vice president of development with the Schaumburg Center for Economic Development, that number is expected to grow over time, as MTA plans to build out in the next three years, creating another 50 jobs.
