​LEITNER Completes The New Cablebús Line 2 In Mexico City

LEITNER, an Italian based world leader in ropeways, has completed the construction of line 2 of the Cablebús "Constitución 1917-Santa Marta", a cable car service that will serve the Iztapalapa district, which is an area with a high population density in central-eastern Mexico City. The project includes over 300 cabins with 10 seats, and a network of 10.6 km and seven stations. Initially the new cable car line will operate free of charge to allow the riders to familiarize with it. Fares will be introduced later on once the ridership targets have been achieved. Opening today, Tuesday October 5, the 22 nd edition of VITRUM , the biennial B2B event organized by GIMAV (the Association of Italian manufacturers and suppliers of machinery, equipment and special products for glass processing) that for 40 years has been the only industry-specific trade show.
