RadiciSpandex Corporation, a subsidiary of Italy's RadiciGroup and based in Gastonia, North Carolina, awarded prizes to students of Kent State University's Fashion School. The award program, "Stretch to the Future" sponsored by RadiciSpandex, is a design competition to crate swimwear, activewear, lingerie and eveningwear utilizing the company's RadElast spandex. RadiciSpandex works with design students to give them unique opportunity to work with the strech fabic. Over 53 students took part in the competition in which four winning garments were choosen with one being an overall Grand Prize
