Challenges facing the auto parts industry in the face of its accelerated growth

The auto parts industry in Mexico is a fundamental pillar in the growth and professionalization of the automotive sector, in addition to playing a crucial role in different markets in the country thanks to the generation of jobs.  

 

Its ability to innovate, adapt and grow in a competitive environment underscores its strategic importance and its contribution to the country's economic and social well-being. With a continuous focus on quality, sustainability and technological development, Mexico remains a key player in the auto parts industry with a presence in domestic and international markets.

 

According to the National Auto Parts Industry (INA), Mexico reached record levels in the production of automotive components, with a new maximum of 11,029 million dollars in May 2024. 

In this regard, it is projected that the auto parts sector will close 2024 with 126,149 million dollars. This represents an increase of more than 4% compared to 2023, which is a milestone for the country.

 

These are the five components of the auto parts industry's impact and their relevance:

This approach to innovation contributes to the industry's global competitiveness.
