Alpitronic
One of the world’s most respected electric vehicle (EV) charger brands, Alpitronic, has celebrated the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte. This move is part of Alpitronic’s strategy to expand across North America and build a robust, reliable charger network to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles. Alpitronic Americas recently announced an agreement with Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging to become the first DC fast-charging network to deploy Hypercharger 400 units at scale in the U.S.
Sabo Group
Italy-based Sabo Group is opening a new office in Orlando, Florida, to serve North American plastics companies. The new office, Sabo International Americas, will sell additives such as hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), anti-static additives, and antifog agents. This expansion joins Sabo’s three other locations in Europe and Asia. Recently, Sabo acquired the TAA additives business from Evonik Industries AG, which included production sites in Germany and China.
Unox
Unox, a leading combi oven manufacturer, will open a new production plant in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2025. This significant investment will bolster its North American operations. The company, founded in 1990, has revealed that its global revenues are expected to exceed $325 million this year. Unox operates offices and commercial subsidiaries in 42 countries.
BLM Group USA
BLM Group USA has announced plans to expand its Novi headquarters for North America with a nearly 65,000-square-foot addition. BLM Group is a global leader in tube and sheet metal processing machine solutions, offering products such as tube lasers, 5-axis lasers, flat lasers, high-speed cold saws, end-formers, tube benders, wire benders, and press brakes. The new facility, scheduled to open by Q3 2025, will allow the company to further expand its portfolio of fabrication machines.
