On January 26, 2026, Luiss University in Rome inaugurated Manifattura 360°, a permanent observatory dedicated to analyzing Italian manufacturing supply chains in international markets. Promoted by Luiss’s Strategic Change Research Center and Philip Morris Italia, the initiative responds to rising global trade instability. A white paper presented during the launch outlines vulnerabilities, strategic responses, and industrial policies to support exports and competitiveness. Government officials and industry leaders emphasized the need for timely data, collaboration, and innovation. The observatory aims to guide SMEs and large enterprises through geopolitical shocks, supply chain disruptions, and internationalization challenges, turning uncertainty into opportunity.
