Italy is strengthening its presence in the U.S. manufacturing sector through major fall events

This fall, the ICE Agency, through its “Machines Italia” project, is strengthening Italy’s leadership in the advanced manufacturing sector with a coordinated presence at the most important industrial events in the United States. The season kicks off in Chicago with IMTS 2026, where Italian companies and technology associations will showcase their excellence in machine tools, automation, and industrial innovation to a global audience of manufacturers and system integrators.

Next, Italy will participate in Pack Expo International, showcasing cutting-edge solutions in packaging, robotics, and process technologies—sectors in which Italian engineering is recognized for precision, reliability, and innovation.

In October, the Agency will attend the AME International Conference in Milwaukee, engaging with operational leaders, plant managers, and continuous improvement professionals seeking advanced solutions for productivity, automation, and workforce transformation.

The season will conclude in November withthe ARM Institute Annual Member Meeting in Pittsburgh, where Italy will contribute to the national debate on robotics, industrial artificial intelligence, and the modernization of U.S. manufacturing.

These events strengthen transatlantic industrial partnerships and expand opportunities for collaboration with the Italian manufacturing sector.
