The Machines Italia USA Desk in Chicago arranged the third Italian participation at the 2015 Makers Fair (www.makersitalia.com). The event, which took place in New York City September 26-27 was open to both trade professionals and the public at large. This year’s major theme was additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies, advanced manufacturing, robotics, education, research & science. The 2015 Makers Fair stretched across six halls and attracted more than 90,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors. The Italian Trade Commission and Machines Italia participated in the fair to provide assistance to Italian and local companies, researchers and innovators and to enhance Italy’s visibility and contribution to the world of manufacturing.
