Fast Expansion Of Fedrigoni Group In Mexico
Fedrigoni, one of the world's leading manufacturers of special papers for packaging, publishing, graphics, and labeling, based in Verona, Italy, has expanded considerably in Mexico in the last 9 months.

The strategy began to take shape in the Latin American country at the beginning of December 2020 when the company took over Industrial Papelera Venus, a company that develops, produces, and distributes self-adhesive materials, a leader on the local market.

The acquisition was completed to increase production capacity, expand the offer, create favorable supply synergies, strengthen the presence in Central, South America and the South of the United States

The company's interest in being present in the country was reconfirmed at the end of the first half of this year with the acquisition of Rimark, a modern cutting and distribution center for the division of self-adhesive products and will allow the group to meet the needs of the market, ensuring a more reliable service with reduced delivery times and availability of a wider range of premium papers and high-quality self-adhesive materials. Equipped with an even larger capacity with two-meter-wide cutters, Rimark will play the role of strategic service platform for the North and Central American market, together with Industrial Papelera Venus.

The new production and sales center formed by Rimark and IP Venus strengthens Fedrigoni's position as the third in the world in the field of self-adhesive labels with the Arconvert, Manter and Ritrama brands. The Italian company is also a world leader for labels in the wine sector and plays a leading role in the food, household, and logistics sectors, as well as in high-tech adhesive films for pharmaceuticals, beverages, and personal care.
