​With an investment of more than 17 million dollars, the new Magneti Marelli plant started operations in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.
These structures, the fourth project installed by the company in the northern state of Coahuila, will generate 250 jobs.
During the inauguration ceremony, Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme pointed out that the new Magneti Marelli plant in Ramos Arizpe, dedicated to the production of components for the automotive industry consolidates the attraction of investment and economic development opportunities in the State.

Humberto Lopes, general manager of the plant, indicated that it is expected that within two years this production site will become the best in the world, thanks to the skilled labor force and the conditions provided by the state.

For his part, Magneti Marelli's human resources manager, Luis Delabra, mentioned that the State of Coahuila stands out for its skilled labor and for guaranteeing the best conditions for companies.
Marelli's North American Human Resources Director, Hannah McMahon, thanked the State Government for the facilities granted to achieve the expansion and consolidation of this project.

Magneti Marelli S.p.A. was an Italian multinational company headquartered in Corbetta, in the province of Milan, specialized in the supply of high-tech products and systems for the automotive industry. Founded in 1994 through the merger by incorporation of the Magneti Marelli Group into Gilardini, a manufacturer of industrial components, it was part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) until 2019 and was subsequently acquired and absorbed by Japan's CK Holdings, a company controlled by the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts fund, which became Marelli Holdings.
