Ecopol To Bring 130 New Jobs To Spalding Country (Atlanta, Georgia)

The Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, announced Tuesday that sustainability-focused Ecopol, a European leader in the production of biodegradable PVA film, will invest more than $38 million and create 130 new jobs at the company's first North American facility in Spalding County south of Atlanta (Georgia). New VP At SCM Group Canada

Lauro Dominici has taken over the helm of SCM Group Canada as Vice President of sales for the wood division following the retirement of woodworking industry veteran Richard Bluteau on Nov. 1. Dominici joined SCM in Canada earlier this year following two years with SCM in Portland, Oregon and Atlanta, Georgia. Dominici brings some 14 years of industry experience to the job. Pegaso Industries Inaugurates New North American Headquarters In Georgia

Pegaso Industries S.p.A. an Italian maker of auxiliary equipment has established Plastic Systems US in Atlanta to serve the North American market. The new subsidiary will help it grow the local market, including auxiliary equipment for extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and processing of PET. It joins Plastic Systems Shanghai, Plastic Systems Latin America, and Plastic Systems India, which reportedly generate a consolidated turnover of €70 million ($78 million) and employ more than 400 people worldwide.
