In the fourth quarter of 2022, the index of machine tool orders processed by the Economic Studies Department & Business Culture Centre of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE marked a 3.5% increase compared with the period October-December 2021. In the first quarter of 2021, the orders of machine tools collected by Italian manufacturers started to grow again.
