Essebi SrI was founded in 1978 by Vincenzo Sormani. With office and plant formerly located in Busto Arsizio, now in Solbiate Olona, the firm quickly made a name for itself on the adhesive market, setting itself apart for superb innovations, the constant quality of its products and the professionalism with which the   company is run. One of the most important innovations Essebi brought out was thread thermoplastic adhesives that were immediately used and later at all footwear factories that benefited from faster production, greater savings and its practical use.

Transformation of machines with the use of thermoplastic thread instead of granules has allowed Essebi to control the domestic market and substantially affirm itself as undisputed leader of the industrial thermoplastic adhesive sector over countries, with excellent prospects for further expansion. Sales and marketing management is run by Vincenzo Sormani in company offices in Vigevano. The research and production center is led by Mario Borri in a modern plant of over 10,000 mq including 7,000 mq of covered space in Solbiate Olona. Company philosophy is based on continuous research to solve various industrial problems. Even Essebis advertising slogan says in many languages: “Your problems are our future products”.
