For 50 years MVM Srl has been producing knife grinders for straight and circular blades of every dimension.

The Knife grinders can be used by four different types of customers.
A) Joiner that uses the knives grinder for own use. These types of blades are sharpened with small knife grinders type AM-BM-PX-ZX-MX.
B) Professional Joiner that uses the machines to supply various joiners that needs to restore blades with different dimensions and characteristics MX & K - KX
C) Blade builders that use knife grinders for the construction of new blades. This customer normally uses big machines FX 20 & FX 40.
D) Grinders that use the machine to grind plates. This customer uses big machines K & KX - FX20 - FX40.

MVM s.r.l, along with two other German companies, is one of the only companies that builds machines for the production or sharpening of every dimension of blades.
The power range changes from 2 hp to 100 hp, the diameter of the grinding wheel changes from 127 mm to 450mm, the width of magnetic chuck changes from 80mm to 350mm (revolving chuck) and 400mm fixed chuck.
Knife grinders can be supplied in standard versions, and special execution, compatibly with the experience of MVM in the use with frontal wheels. We can design and build systems of blades clamping or special pieces with solutions by specific request of the customer.
The machinery can be realized with manual, pneumatic or hydraulic systems. Our range of medium and large machinery is also very suitable for specific applications such as, plane sharpening or as an alternative to tangential sharpening.
