 GAMA ANNOUNCES NEW VISCOMETER
GAMA International Srl has developed a new viscometer for the label market, which includes a new system, the G39, that al- lows the operator to control, correct and maintain levels of viscosity, temperature and pH set during the start-up phase. The new G39 system is suitable for the control of pH, temperature and viscosity and for the automatic correction of solvent and wa- ter-based inks. It is also able to control the
viscosity and the temperature of UV inks. In case of multiple inks uploaded in the print- ing machine, the G39 software is able to recognize the ink type and to run the re- spective control and correction process. These new products can be integrated on a new narrow-web printing press or in- stalled as an update on a machine already in production.

SALAMI UPDATES ITS VALVES AND PUMPS
Salami Hydraulics SpA has updated its new VD8Z directional control valve with integrated electro-hydraulic con- trol and the new 2PGE Cast Iron Gear Pump. Both products are suitable for machinery applications in agriculture, municipal public works, construction and material handling, according to the company.
The VD8Z valve has a cast iron, sec- tional, bi-block construction and steel spools that have been hardened and nickel plated. The valve features electro-hydraulic open-loop on-off
and proportional control (12 or 24 Vdc) as well as a parallel circuit with a load check valve on each section.
The 2PGE cast iron gear pump has an innovative design and is produced with an accurate control of machining toler- ances to achieve high volumetric effi- ciency, according to the company. Axial compensation is achieved by the use of floating bushes that allow high volumetric efficiency throughout the working pres- sure range. DU bearings are used to ensure high-pressure capability. SAPORITI MACHINES FOR SCREWS, BARRELS, AMD VALVES
SAPORITI Srl designs and manufactures machine tools, 90% of which are export- ed from Italy to Europe, the Far East and North America. The company features three machines in particular, thread mill- ing and whirling machines for screw manufacturing, deep-hole drilling-boring- honing-rolling machines, and ball valve grinding machines.
The Saporiti threader machines are able to work screws with diameters up to 500 mm (19.6 inches) and 9000 mm (29.5 feet) length with any shape including cams and polygons.
The SAPORITI FL deep-hole drilling machine is especially suited for manufacturing twin screw barrels as the work- pieces are fixed and the car- riages are on a controlled axis. The company’s ball valve machines excel in metal to metal sealing, achieving roundness accuracy better than 0.01 mm (0.0004 inch) and roughness accuracy better than Ra<0.2μ (AA 8) Website: www.saporiti.it
