TDK-T line includes traditional drying kilns with tunnel loading.

Function

These kilns dry every kind of wood, with thickness from 5mm to the beams, and dry green timber (or aired material) till the 8%, in a totally automatic cycle.

Productivity

- The installations have a minimum capacity of 30m3 net per cycle, till 400m3, with cart on rails loading from the front or with double front / back door.

- These dryers are tailored on clients’ needs.

Mechanics

- TDK-T line is designed for the outdoor installation, despite weather conditions.

- The structure is totally made of aluminum, worked with Numerical Control Machines (CNC) and standardized in order to withstand a snow load of more than 250kg/m2 and winds of more than 150km/h.

- Screws and bolts are made of stainless steel.

- The interior walls are made of aluminum with a thickness of 15/10mm, assembled on the installation site and siliconized together.

Heating system

- Stainless steel and extruded aluminum heat exchangers with stainless steel distribution system, a standardized thickness of 25/10mm and a special temperature uniformity system.

- Exchangers, welded in robotized cell and all tested to 50 bar, can be powered by water, steam or diathermic oil.  In the case of gas supply TDK-T kilns are equipped with air-air radiating beams in stainless steel.

Equipment

- The ventilation fan is reversible and made of stainless steel and aluminum, with high pressure and capacity.  Air circulation system has an anti-shock proportional opening.

- High pressure humidification system to spray water and RTV 840 control system with ethernet interface.

ATK line includes High Temperature Kilns with a capacity of more than 10 m3 net.

DVK-D line treats the wood thanks to the steam introduced into the chamber from the outside, via a duct system. 

Function

Supply

- The steam, produced by an external generator plant, is introduced into a perforated stainless steel tubing through which it can dissolve within the kiln.

- The installation must be fed with wet steam at low pressure.

- Once condensed water is removed by means of appropriate ducts arranged inside of kiln foundations.

DVK-I vaporizers treat the wood thanks to the steam produced inside the kiln through the boiling water system.

- Steam is produced through water boiling, contained in a tank inside the kiln.  

- A heat exchanger, which can be supplied with water to at least +120°C, steam, diathermic oil or gas, generates the overheating of the water and consequently the boiling.

- DVK-I installations are equipped with heat exchangers made of stainless steel, with standardized thickness of 25/10mm, and all tested at 50 bar.

- The boiling bath is made of stainless steel.
