Since 1985, Sacmi Forni is a part of the Sacmi Group, world leading producer of machines and complete plants for Ceramics, Beverage & Packaging, Processing and Plastics. Sacmi Forni's core business is the design and production of thermal machines for the ceramics industry. The company's operations, which started in the area of ceramic tiles, subsequently developed to embrace related fields (extruded products, bricks, frit kilns, technical ceramics, etc.).

The company, which is based at the heart of the Modena and Reggio Emilia ceramics, currently  has two divisions:

• Ceramic: dedicated to the design and the production of thermal machines for tiles, flat extruded products and frits
• Heavy Clay: focused on the design and the production of thermal machines for bricks and roof tiles
