Ceccato S.p.A. Flag Planting In Virginia
Ceccato S.p.A., an Italian company specializing in washing equipment for cars and light and heavy transport vehicles, will open its first U.S. production branch in Russell County, Virginia.

According to a press release from the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority (VCEDA), Ceccato USA Corp. will occupy a 51,830-square-foot facility and create 50 new jobs within the next five years. The new plant will assemble and sell car wash systems and manufacture truck wash units.

Jimmy Sisk, president and CEO of Ceccato USA Corp. said the company plans to invest $1.75 million USD in the new plant. Much of the investment consists of machinery and technology, much of which is already on its way from Italy. Supplies and components will also be sourced locally.

In February, VCEDA approved a loan of up to $900,000 that will be used to acquire and renovate the Russell Place building that will house the Ceccato USA Corp. plant.
