Italy Invests in the US: Italy's Kiian Group Opens Plant in Soddy-Daisy, TN

KIIAN USA, Inc. officially opened for business on 27th September 2013 at a formal event to mark the launch of the digital textile and signage ink production and expansion of the Kiian digital business in the Americas. This exciting development was part of a strategic programme to internationally expand KIIAN's ink business.

The establishment of a regional HQ in one of the most important of all global markets is a key development in KIIAN's growth. Located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, the focus for the KIIAN USA operation is to extend and develop KIIAN's Digital business in North America as well as to support and assist growth for the rapidly developing Central and South American markets.

This strategic investment, will immediately provide KIIAN's North American customers with some clear service benefits; and will provide them with an improved connection and focus for the local needs of the US market in line with the KIIAN brand promise to 'Think Global and Act Local'. KIIAN Group CEO, Fabio Festorazzi explains "The next phase of growth for KIIAN is to develop our innovative ink business in the key global textile and signage markets.

The establishment of a KIIAN HQ in Tennessee provides our business with a professional base in a strategically important market and one that will grow our business and improve the service that we provide our customers." KIIAN USA will be led by Alessandro Ratti who has experience and success in developing KIIAN's digital textile ink range that has led to rapid growth for the division. Ratti explains, "I am obviously excited to be leading KIIAN in such an important market and at such a positive time for the business. In the North American market, there is already a strong demand for our specialist aqueous textile inks and I am excited and confident about the potential to generate the kind of success that will continue to grow our business profitably in the USA".
