Over the past two years, Copenhagen residents have been witness to a large fleet of piling rigs and hydromills from Italy's Trevi Group which are playing a critical role in the construction of a new, underground metro line, “Cityringen". The construction sites are wedged in between residences, narrow streets, and historic buildings throughout the heart of the city. 

Copenhagen's "Cityringen" in figures:

• 15.5 kilometer (9.6 mile) of metro line
• 17 stations and 4 service shafts
• 21 separate construction sites
• 250 Trevi personnel.
