April U.S. Census data on imports of machinery and related technologies for Machines Italia's sectors are now available, some key observations of which we report (see PDF for full report): For the first 4 months of 2025, total machinery imports to the U.S. decreased by 6.66 percent in 2025 compared to 2024. And the top five suppliers remained constant: Germany, Japan, Canada, China, and Mexico. Mexico experienced a remarkable growth of 11.99%, surpassing China in terms of percentage share.
