Machines Italia: Opportunity for consideration to be featured in the "Machines Italia Magazine" 2023 Spring/Summer (Vol. XV), entitled “Transforming how we work, one machine at a time” - Deadline for sending materials is March 28 2023!
Dear Italian Subsidiaries in North America,
 
We would like to bring to your attention the opportunity to be part of the next edition of our magazine “Machines Italia” which is a complementary opportunity for your company to gain additional exposure within the North American marketplace. 
 
For context, you may review previous editions of the magazine at www.old.machinesitalia.org/magzine 
 
The following provides all indications and suggestions on the magazine and how your company can possibly be featured. 
 
The Chicago Office of the Italian Trade Agency, with a specific selection procedure entrusted WTWH Media, an important publishing house of magazines specialized in industrial technologies with which they collaborate engineers and manufacturing professionals throughout  North America, with the assignment of producing the next edition of Machines Italia Magazine (henceforth also referred to as The Magazine).
 
The distribution of the magazine is expected to be polybagged with the June 2023 publications - Design World Magazine (20,000 subscribers), Fluid Power World (5.000 subscribers), and Robot Report (5,000 subscribers).
 
The periodical Machines Italia will also be distributed in electronic format to about 260,000 executives and managers of North American manufacturing companies identified in the databases of WTWH Media. 
 
The 2023 edition of the magazine, the 15th edition, will be titled “Transforming how we work, one machine at a time” and intends to promote Italian machinery and technologies in North American manufacturing industries, focusing on excellence, the innovative content of the Made in Italy offers, on the intelligent management of resources production and of the workforce and overcoming operational challenges in automation and manufacturing processes. 
 
The magazine will also illustrate concrete cases of North American end users who successfully employ advanced technological tools supplied by Italian companies in the various machinery sectors covered by the ITA - Italian Trade Agency's Machines Italia program (www.old.machinesitalia.org/sectors). 
 
All information and materials useful for the purpose of editing the magazine's contents must be inserted in the folders indicated below by March 28, 2023. These deadlines have been set to allow the WTWH Media editorial staff time to evaluate the material, ask any questions, and make the necessary revisions in time for publication.
 
We do not guarantee the publication of material received after the deadlines.
 
ARTICLES
 
WTWH Media is looking for materials and stories for articles on the topics listed below. For each topic, the reference WTWH Media editors and journalists are indicated, as well as the target Associations. The choice of proposing material on a theme rather than on another can be arranged directly with WTWH Media by writing to the addresses indicated below. Correspondence and materials must be in English. Finished articles will be approximately 2,500 words in length and will contain material from multiple sources.
 
F1 - Smart machines are shaping the future of manufacturing. How machines are changing the way products are manufactured. What technologies are enabling this to happen, what are those changes and what are the benefits to manufacturers and consumers?

NEWS BRIEF
  
The News Brief section of the magazine will highlight stories related to Italian companies that have invested or will invest in North America. Italian companies and or their North American subsidiaries are requested to send e/o have information transmitted (including press releases and byline articles) relating to new plants, products, offices, headquarters, and installations as well as partnerships with North American companies. The information should be accompanied by graphic material such as photographs of machinery, people, and/or installations.
 
There is limited space, for which the selection of announcements and news for this section will be made by WTWH Media taking into consideration not only their editorial relevance but also a fair representation of the 15 Machines Italy sectors.

CASE STUDIES
 
For the creation of the articles on stories of end users of Italian technology, WTWH Media will need interviews and statements from testimonials/customers able to provide direct testimony of the uses and the responsiveness of the Italian machinery to the particular needs and requirements of North American customers. The material may relate only and exclusively to machinery and technologies actually used in North America. Contacts for customers to be interviewed by WTWH Media directly must include name, title, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, and contacts of branches of Italian companies in North America or the headquarters in Italy where the companies do not have local branches.
