Labrenta, triple-digit growth in Mexico
Labrenta, a company from Breganze, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in closure solutions for the wine and spirits sector, closes 2021 with a total turnover of €20 million, doubling the previous year's result.

The company's growth is linked to Labrenta's success in the American and European markets, especially Mexico, United Kingdom, Central Europe and +128% of sales recorded in the United States.

The company's Mexican headquarters - inaugurated in 2020 with an investment of half a million euros that included the acquisition of the company Tapones Cabrera - is located in Zapopan, in the state of Jalisco, and produces caps in various materials, such as wood and plastic.

The workforce saw fifty new hires spread between Italy, Mexico and Brazil. In addition, both American offices show a three-digit percentage growth compared to 2020.

The market demands above all products with low environmental impact, first and foremost closures based on FSC-certified wood and cork, a revolutionary material patented by Labrenta composed of natural cork grain and plastic polymers.

And 2021 paves the way for a 2022 with excellent prospects, put in black and white thanks to a 2022-2024 two-year plan for the development, expansion and structuring of the production departments. The project involves the management of the group, with the entry of Stefano Romoli, new commercial director with strong experience in the packaging sector, the filing of three patents in the first four months and the recruitment of 30 specialized profiles.
