ICE-Agency, in collaboration with UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, organized the event to present opportunities on the U.S. market with a focus on the machine tool sector.

During the initiative, the video of the "Fact finding tour USA" exploratory mission to Ohio and Alabama held in March 2017 was presented, during which representatives of the Chicago ICE office and UCIMU visited Italian and foreign companies well-established in the area and met with local institutions, gathering important information and data relevant to the sector.

The meeting, introduced by Marinella Loddo, manager of the ICE office in Milan, and Massimo Carboniero, president of UCIMU, and moderated by Alfredo Mariotti, general manager of UCIMU, featured speeches by Stefania Pigozzi (min 12:00), head of UCIMU's center for studies and business culture, Marco Saladini (min 31:00), director of ICE Chicago, Luigi Serio (1h:16m) , professor of economics and business management at theCatholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and Guido Nicola (1h:45m), senior partner VVR Verto Value Regeneration.

At the end of the presentations, UCIMU presented "Master of Mechanics 2017" awards to Pietro Colombo, president of BLM Group, and Armando Corsi.
