The Industrial Edge Showcase is a review of success stories and testimonials of Canadian companies using Italian machinery and technology. It is a Machines Italia Canada initiative in collaboration with the industrial, horizontal-oriented publication Canadianmanufacturing.com. To date, the review has 11 articles, with interviews and photographs illustrating how Made in Italy technology has contributed to the success of large and small Canadian manufacturing companies, in different manufacturing sectors: metalworking, packaging, food, ceramics, construction and earthmoving, and pneumatics. Testimonials include Biscuits Leclerc, Elemex, Lofthouse Manufacturing, Tycos Tool & Die (Magna), Stelpro, Cavalier Tool, Econopack.
Italian companies reviewed include; Davi, Prinoth, Mapei, Breton, Lofthouse Manufacturing, OMV, Prima, Salvagnini, Millutensil, Sarong.
The stories will now be compiled into a digital Industrial Edge Showcase eZine publication that will be circulated through the usual Machines Italia channels (English-language e-newsletter and portal www.old.machinesitalia.org) and distributed to 20 thousand Canadian manufacturing companies and registered users of Canadianmanufacturing.com. A limited number of copies are expected to be distributed together with selected magazines of the Annex Business Media publishing group.
Industrial Edge Showcase eZine magazine is scheduled for publication in December 2017.
