Clone of PA S.p.A.To Open First U.S. Location In Minnesota
Italian manufacturer PA S.p.A. is opening its first-ever location in the United States this fall. But it won’t be in a big city on the East Coast or West Coast. It will be in the Minneapolis suburb of Bloomington, which will serve as its North American headquarters. The company produces high pressure accessories. The U.S. is the company’s biggest market.

“We chose Minnesota not only for proximity to our customers, but also because we felt that, as a vastly industrialized area, it could offer a wide range of technical suppliers, and a highly skilled workforce,” said Stefania Benetti, CEO of PA S.p.A., in a statement. “Our aim is to replicate the superior quality for which we are known, in a completely different environment. We feel that Minnesota will enable us to reach this goal. Plus, as an international hub and a very vibrant area, I’m very much looking forward to moving here.”

The company acquired what had been an empty, 65,000-square-foot industrial building at 1600 92nd Street West in Bloomington.
Eagan-based Shaw-Lundquist Associates Inc. worked on the interior renovation of the building. Shaw-Lundquist CEO and president Hoyt Hsiao is an inductee to the Twin Cities Business Hall of Fame this year.

The office is slated to open this fall and will have 12 employees during its first year of operations.
