KIA Motors to build first plant in Mexico

The new vehicle factory that South Korea's Kia Motors Corp plans to open in Mexico, at an estimated cost of 1.5 billion dollars, will begin production in 2016, sources close to the process said on Wednesday.

President Enrique Peña Nieto will head an event later on Wednesday where Kia Motors' investment plans will be announced.
