LU-VE S.p.a., an Italian company specializing in the construction of heat exchangers and refrigeration equipment, has acquired American Zyklus, which also operates in the refrigeration supply chain.
Through Zyklus' facilities in Texas, the LU-VE Group intends to strengthen its presence in the North American market, leveraging the increase, expected in the coming years, in demand for refrigeration and air conditioning machinery and technologies with lower environmental impact and high energy efficiency.
LU-VE was among the first companies in the world to produce transcritical CO2 technologies for commercial establishments over 14 years ago for sale in Europe. In 2005, it patented LSA (low surface area) heat exchangers that reduce the amount of ammonia in industrial refrigeration systems.
