Machines Italia & Italian Clean Technology Host Innovation & Application Stage at Intersolar 2013

The Italian Trade Commission (ITC) Chicago and New York Offices via their respective Machines Italia project and desk for Italian Clean Technologies take center stage at Intersolar North America 2013 in San Francisco (Booth # 7438), July 9-11th, 2013.

The time has come to change the widespread image of Italy as a producer of just consumer goods, by taking the latest technological innovations to the United States, especially those relating to renewable energy. This is the aim of the Italian companies participating in the Intersolar North America fair  that will be in the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California, July 9th – 11th 2013.

For this reason, Italian participation in the 2013 edition of the fair is of great importance: the United States has, among other things, increased the amount of companies working in various key mechanics sectors, which are being presented individually at trade fairs, seminars and conferences to promote products and technologies aimed at the sustainable development industry.

For each of the main areas of the renewable energy sector, there is a high quality Italian product on offer, whether it is machinery or subcontracting, which is universally recognized for its innovative technical content.

In this regard, the Machines Italia project in particular has a triple objective: to develop programs aimed at creating an association between Italy and technology, to promote and enhance capabilities for research, applied technological innovation and flexible adaptation to production processes, and to revise the “traditional” image of Italy as a country that predominantly produces only consumer goods.

In addition to the companies showing at Intersolar North America, others will have the opportunity to participate in a series of seminars within the forum entitled Innovation & Application Stage (full program found here), in which the companies’ spokespeople will have 30 minutes to present new technologies and research projects relating to their own activities.

This year, the ITC through its Machines Italia project and Italian Clean Technology desk, will once again sponsor the show seminar series hosting three of Italy's leading companies to discuss their technology and solutions for this dynamic industry, AMUT North America, Brandoni Solare SpA and Solergy, Inc.

The schedule for the Italian companies' presentations is as follows:
