Ryerson University + Machines Italy Awareness Survey 2004 - 2018
The Machines Italy Awareness Survey is a study that analyzes trends the critical issues and future investment plans affecting the capital goods market in North America.

The surveys were administered by Machines Italia's three desks in Chicago, Mexico City, and Toronto from 2004 to 2018, with a total of 2270 companies interviewed in different editions of the survey.

Respondents include: owners/ CEOs, directors, vice presidents, senior managers, and engineers. The vast majority of the companies surveyed operate in 15 manufacturing sectors referenced in the Machines Italia project.

Most respondents are concentrated in the top seven sectors, with the metallurgical sector accounting for 25 to 60 percent of the total participating companies across the various editions of the survey.

Machines Italia Canada collaborated with the Department of Economics at Ryerson University, Toronto, where a team of postgraduate students, under the supervision of Dr. Claustre Bajona, Associate Professor and Chair, conducted in-depth analysis of the survey data, including time series analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis.
