On the heels of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development’s launch of the Industrial National Plan 4.0, Machines Italia USA and the Italian Trade Commission (ITA) Chicago  office hosted a conversation on

PLAST, held in Milan every three years, is one of the most important exhibitions for plastics and rubber industry worldwide.

The Italian Trade Agency Office in Mexico City hands out the Italian Plastic Technology Award and the Italian Packaging Technology Award. The project aims to create a link between graduates and undergraduates in engineering programs at leading Mexican universities, and to increase their awareness of leading technology and solutions available in Italian plastics and packaging machinery.

Assocomaplast, the Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds manufacturers’ association, and Machines Italia Mexico will be organizing an Italian pavilion at the upcoming PLASTIMAGEN MEXICO – Latin America’s largest plastic industry trade show that is taking place in Mexico City, from March 8 to 11, 2016.

The Italian Technology Award program includes the Italian Packaging Technology Award (IPTA), specific to the packaging technology sector. The IPTA program asks students to write an analysis of innovations in packaging technologies for a chance to win a trip to Italy to visit leading packaging machinery manufacturers.

The Italian Trade Commission in Canada, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development and Industry Canada undertook a research project aimed at mapping and surveying the Italian companies operating in the country. Out of a combined database of over 200 subsidiaries, representing 150+ Italian investments, the survey gathered information on approximately 70 companies.

The performance of the Italian industry of printing and converting machinery shows overall stability. This was revealed by the quarterly qualitative survey carried out by ACIMGA, the Confindustria association of companies operating in the industry.

This January 2013, in Hannover, Germany the signing of a business agreement took place between Deutsche Messe AG and Ipack-Ima Spa for the creation of the new exhibition INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA 2015, planned for May 19-23, 2015 at the FieraMilano exhibition center in Rho.
